Heimilisiðnaðarsafnið Textile Museum
One of the most interesting stops we did in our road trip was the one at the Heimilisiðnaðarsafnið Textile Museum in Blönduós, close to Akureyri.

More Highlands and whale watching
We were now in the North-East of Iceland and moving through lands that looked like rocky deserts. We had the most fascinating driving - it really felt like we were in some kind of James Bond movie, hiked in the snow, crossed at least 3 big rivers, met fellow travellers that faced the harsh nature as we did.

I C E L A N D
Iceland is the land of Ice and Fire, of imaginative fairy tales, of kind people, of unexpected events and rapid weather changes. A land that resembles no other, but sometimes places of our imagination or even other planets!
So it's no wonder that during our trip we saw and experienced things we wouldn't have anticipated. Because no matter what you read, or what kind of pictures you look at, living the Icelandic landscapes is something unique and unreplicable!

The Road Trip - Norway pt. 2
Day 8 and we started with a van in a ditch. Unfortunately while trying to get the cars closer to the road, our 9-seat van fell into a ditch. After 2 or 3 hours of trying almost everything to get the car out, we managed to get a fellow Norwegian farmer to pull the van out with his traktor. This small misfortune made us fall behind on schedule, so we concluded that we should drive the rest of the day without stops, so that we would reach Trondheim in time.

The Road Trip - Sweden
Three weeks ago I was preparing for an awesome trip, and although I didn't have the time to write about it (packing was a bit tricky) nor figure out how I am going to document it, I realize now that it was better this way - I was not stressed about writing down whatever I saw, and was relaxed enough to enjoy the whole trip. ^^ Proper mental holidays.
A Road Trip to the North. That's what it was. All the way through Sweden and Norway. And before I start describing my experiences of both countries, a set of keywords to get an idea:
midnight City Rally, mosquito attacks, goats as camping crashers, goats as road blockers, tetris, midnight sun, "all day, all day", campfire, surprise cabin, seagulls, arctic circle, fjords, trolls, alternative IE, middle of nowhere, knäckebröd!

Ukrainian Easter holidays.. in the village. Part 2.
And the fun continues on Sunday. There were some activities on that day that I quite enjoyed. First, I took out my Diana and started taking pictures of the animals and the area around the house. Everything was very beautiful - if one didn't pay attention to the mud that was literally everywhere - and that almost destroyed my unsuitable shoes.
