A random project and a new job

So I was out the other day, from one LYS to another, looking for yarn for new shop addictions. And while I was browsing through different yarns, I spotted a lovely skein, and let's say, I indulged. 

The black cowl

Some weeks ago I got a request from a friend for a special piece of handwork: he asked me for a cowl.

Well here is a disappointment I haven't seen in a while.

I did this cowl 3 times, but still managed to make a mistake. Of course by the third time I had no will to try and fix the problem. So I just left it like that. And hope that someday I will finally make it again.

Cowls and pins

Πάντα είχα την απορία γιατί υπάρχουν καρφίτσες. Σε τι χρησιμεύουν. Τι σκοπό εξυπηρετούν - εκτός από το να 'στολίζουν' ρούχα. 

Ώσπου βρήκα και εγώ μια χρήση. Έφτιαξα ένα μίνι cowl, το οποίο μπορώ να το ενώνω και να στερεώνω με καρφίτσες.
