Knitting at a Patisserie

Yesterday I instructed a whole group for the first time, and although I had been anxious about it, it went pretty well.

It all started a few weeks ago, when a friend that works at a local Patisserie, asked me to assist at the knitting seminar that was already scheduled for the next day. The instructor was not able to attend that day and they had no one to help with the women that gather there to knit.

So I went, and I stayed. And it resulted so, that apart from the 'seminars', which are mostly gatherings of women that knit and have questions about what to do next or how to do something, we arranged also normal knitting lessons, with yesterday's being the first one.

We had a few enthusiastic participants and it was a blast, even though we were doing the absolute basics! [How to cast on and how to knit.]

I also enjoyed it more than I expected. Unfortunately I was not able to take any pictures, because my hands were tied. But I promise that I will provide some from the next ones!

For now I only have some from the knitting seminars that take place every Wednesday, which is more relaxed but just as enjoyable!

The agenda for the following lessons also include crochet, since there is a high demand for it, but there is no definite date on when we are going to start working on it. :)

Updates regarding the events and the contents of each lesson will be posted each week on my page and the patisserie's group!

    1. Yeah tea and lots of sweets! :D You should try it in your town too! I am sure that there are people that will want to learn to knit and they don't even know it. (yet :P)
